Meet The 2022-2023 OC

Dylan absolutely loves case competitions! Having participated in many competitions over the past 3 years, Dylan could not be more excited to be leading the world’s largest undergraduate case competition as Co-President. As the team prepares for the 15th anniversary of the competition, he looks forward to providing challenging cases, hosting thrilling social events and various networking opportunities. He’s counting down the days until he gets to host all the delegates, faculty advisors and sponsors in Montreal while providing an environment where #JMUCCships can thrive!

Dylan Ross (Co-President)

Returning for her second year on the organizing committee, Marina could not be more thrilled to take on the role of Co-President for the 15th edition and much anticipated in-person return. Leading the team toward one of a kind edition, she cannot wait to meet all of you in the beautiful city of Montreal and embody the passion, spirit and dynamism that this competition has to offer! Celebrating the competition’s 15th anniversary, she is already proud of everything the team has accomplished and is confident in everyone’s ability to ensure a smooth running of JMUCC’s comeback. Looking forward to offering you a memorable week and creating a lot of #JMUCCships!

Marina Bertilotti Barreto (Co-President)

Nick found his passion for case competitions last year and is thrilled to be a part of the JMUCC O.C. this year. A venturer at heart, he seeks new experiences and loves getting to know people. As VP Academic Affairs, he will be challenging the delegates skills and knowledge by finding interesting and complex cases to solve. What drew Nick to this position was the reputation that JMUCC has as being a valuable and enriching experience. Nick has a love for competition and is motivated to put forth his best effort as an organizing committee member!

Nick Bonneau (VP Academics)

Ciaran is returning to work with JMUCC for a second year, now serving as the VP Logistics. His biggest challenge will be the return to an in-person format after two consecutive years online, but he is both ready and excited to make it happen. Ciaran is looking forward to organizing the events, and most of all to meet all the delegates and coaches face-to-face. After a great competition last year, he’s excited to be a part of the committee again with a whole new team.

Ciaran Ryan (VP Logistics)

Theo is excited to be a part of organizing JMUCC after participating in the 2022 online edition as a Team Ambassador. He is proud to be joining the organizing committee as VP Corporate Relations and is ecstatic to finally see an in-person edition of JMUCC. Theo’s objective is to assist in establishing and fostering enduring connections between today’s brightest minds and tomorrow’s business leaders. Throughout the competition, he seeks to aid in building connections between students and our wide network of sponsors, which includes some of the most renowned names in business.

Theo Henry (VP Corporate)

With JMUCC coming back in-person, Justin could not be more motivated to be part of the organizing committee as VP of Technology and Innovation. As a second-year Business and Technology Management student at JMSB, he will ensure that the 15th edition will be as prestigious as all the previous years. With both his technological knowledge and his experience volunteering for the previous edition, he is determined to make JMUCC the most memorable week of the year for all the delegates coming from around the world!

Justin Hua (VP Technology & Innovation)

Born with an undying interest in connecting with new people, adapting to stressful situations, and organizing events, Liam is excited to be ending his B.Comm as the VP of External Affairs for JMUCC. With three years of experience in student involvement at JMSB, Liam wanted to round out the final year of his Marketing degree by entering the world of case competitions and working with the 28 selected universities competing in the 15th edition of the competition. Liam is honored to be a part of the JMUCC family and will work tirelessly with the committee members to ensure the in-person return goes off without a hitch and is the best JMUCC yet.

Liam Scott-Frater (VP External)

Sarina is currently in her third year as a Finance student and first year on JMUCC’s organizing committee. She is looking forward to being a part of JMUCC’s 15th edition as the VP Finance & Development. Throughout the year, she will be managing the budget as well as recruiting and helping volunteers smoothly transition into being an extension of the OC. She is eager to meet all the delegates, coaches and volunteers as well as make this JMUCC the best edition yet!

Sarina Cece (VP Finance)

Having previously competed in JMUCC herself, Dayiny is looking forward to being behind the scenes of this unforgettable competition experience! As VP Marketing, Dayiny provides creative visuals that best fit JMUCC’s prestige and notoriety. Proud to now be a part of the JMUCC family, she cannot wait to finally experience #JMUCCships in-person!

Dayiny Balasingam (VP Marketing)

After having lived a wonderful experience as a JMUCC volunteer, Alessia is eager to join the organizing committee as the VP PR & Branding and is excited to commit to a competition she cherishes and values. Throughout the year, she will be managing all socials as well as making sure all delegates get the best merchandise to support their demanding, yet gratifying week! The long awaited return back in person makes her even more motivated and determined to ensure that JMUCC 2023 will be the best edition yet!

Alessia Melo (VP PR & Branding)

Émilie is excited to be joining the JMUCC team this year! With her international background and experience, the new addition to the team is excited to be a part of the largest international undergraduate case competition. Her goal is to ensure our competition attracts only the best industry professionals to serve as judges and provide insight into what our delegates can do. A new adventure is in store for Émilie as she prepares for the long awaited return of the in-person competition.
